Now taking applications for next years sessions!

We are looking to commission a sound artist to create an installation that uses the poetic materials created so far as part of our Learning to Fly project, as well as archive gathered from across the county relating to Surrey Heritage’s World War 1 commemorative project.

Spoken word artist Benna has written and recorded an original poem in response to the Surrey in the Great War project archives as part of Learning to Fly. View the finished video here now!

A limited run of the prints that inspired the Learning to Fly logo are now available to purchase and enjoy at home.

Singing Picnics give children from primary schools across Surrey a new opportunity to perform songs to each other, play singing games and enjoy a picnic lunch at Surrey parks. Read on for pictures and updates about the first few events!

We are looking to comission a young poet, aged between 18 and 30, to write a one-minute poem for a promotional film for our Learning to Fly project.
